Spanish mobile network operator Yoigo has announced that it is now offering LTE-based services in all Spanish cities and towns with more than 70,000 inhabitants.

According to a press release by the operator, with some 220 municipalities included in the coverage area, its LTE-1800MHz network footprint now covers 48% of the national territory, in line with a self-imposed target it set out to achieve by end-2013.

Yoigo launched commercial LTE services in July 2013, initially in Madrid only.
