UAE-based satellite operator, Yahsat signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Danish technology and Internet Service Provider company BlueTown at AfricaCom 2017. The aim of this agreement is to connect the unconnected locations. Yahsat Signed a Memorandum of Understanding with BlueTown
Both companies will overcome the challenging conditions exist in the most remote areas of Africa by offering an innovative and reliable solution. Both the companies will support the distribution of Yahsat Internet satellite services to a substantial number of users. The services will be distributed those communities which are utilizing BlueTown’s last mile solution.

Commenting on the partnership, Farhad Khan, Yahsat’s Chief Commercial Officer said:

BlueTown solutions vary from single village installations and refugee camps to solutions with up to 200 Wi-Fi hotspots. The Wi-Fi hotspots will be backhaule by YahClick.
