Now it’s a piece of good news for android users that WhatsApp is introducing this fingerprint lock for them as well. This is for all the users who are using WhatsApp. You can turn it on and can make it more secure. Another security concerned of WhatsApp is end-to-end encryption for its users.

WhatsApp Enabled Fingerprint Lock for Android Users

You can get this privacy feature after updating the app. Another feature that will come to your knowledge after updating it is the appearance of the WhatsApp logo on the start screen of WhatsApp. But after updating your WhatsApp, and still, you are not getting these two features then you should wait for a bit.

Here is a process of activation fingerprint lock at the start of WhatsApp.

First of all, go to the WhatsApp icon and tap on it. You will see the app logo at the start of the screen.

After opening the app, tap on the three dots on the top right corner of the app.

Tap on the option “Account”

Move to the “Privacy” option

Now tap on the “Fingerprint Lock”.

After enabling this fingerprint lock, you will get three options in return that are “Immediately”, “After 1 minute” and “After 30 minutes”. So, select the one as per your need. It is a useful feature in terms of security as it will always lock out your conversations every single time you use the app according to your selected option.
