Vivacell’s Q1 Profit Totals AMD 3.67 Bln

Armenian mobile operator VivaCell-MTS reported a first quarter profit of AMD 3.67 billion while revenues totaled AMD 17.74 billion. Voice services generated AMD 10.07 billion in revenues, VAS revenues were AMD 720.69 million, and data transmission revenues totalled AMD 1.59 billion. Vivacell reported an OIBDA of AMD 8.95 billion. Capex totaled AMD 469.20 billion for the first quarter. The operator ended the quarter with 2.01 million subscribers, which includes 1.66 million prepaid customers and 347,288 postpaid subscribers. VivaCell also had 91,331 mobile broadband customers (other than by phone). ARPU stood at AMD 2,890.
