Vibo Telecom Considering Partnership Options for 4G Investment

Taiwanese wireless network operator Vibo Telecom is said to be examining its options with regards to taking on a partner for a joint investment in 4G technology. Vibo chairman Rock Hsu has confirmed that his company will take part in the country’s forthcoming 4G spectrum auction, which is expected to take place in August 2013. In confirming that it would seek a partner for its foray into the 4G arena, Hsu noted that any would-be collaborator could be either Taiwan-based or international, while the executive also said that candidates would not be limited solely to telecom companies.
