Verizon switches on LTE network in 33 new markets

US mobile giant Verizon Wireless has announced that its in-deployment Long Term Evolution (LTE) network will launch in an additional 33 markets, while coverage has also been expanded in 32 existing 4G markets. According to the company, the latest batch of deployments means that it is on track to meet its goal of covering more than 400 US markets by the end of this year.
The 33 new market launches are as follows: El Dorado/Magnolia and Russellville (Arkansas); New London County (Connecticut); Fort Pierce/Vero Beach and Melbourne/Titusville (Florida); Columbus and Rome (Georgia); Burley (Idaho); Mattoon (Illinois); Anderson and Muncie (Indiana); Manhattan/Junction City and McPherson (Kansas); Lafayette/New Iberia (Louisiana); St. Joseph (Missouri); Bozeman/Livingston, Kalispell and Missoula (Montana); Goldsboro/Kinston, Roanoke Rapids and Rocky Mount/Wilson (North Carolina); Zanesville (Ohio); Meadville and Punxsutawney/DuBois/Clearfield (Pennsylvania); Orangeburg (South Carolina); Sherman/Denison (Texas); Cedar City and Logan (Utah); Rutland/Bennington (Vermont); Lynchburg and Winchester (Virginia); Bellingham (Washington) and Beckley (West Virginia).
