Ufone, Mobilink Hike Balance Inquiry Tariff

Pakistani mobile operators Ufone and Mobilink have increased the fee for balance inquiries by PKR 0.05. Zong, Telenor and Warid are likely to follow the move in the coming days. Ufone said that the new balance inquiry charges will be applicable from 25 May, while Mobilink has not given any date for the new charges. After this increase, balance inquiries will be charged at PKR 0.20 per transaction, excluding taxes, or PKR 0.24 per balance inquiry including taxes.
