Twitter Appointed Engineer Parag Agarwal as Chief Technology Officer

According to a report, Twitter appointed Parag Agarwal as its new Chief Technology Officer. Twitter updated its website to show it has appointed Parag Agarwal as its new CTO. Furthermore, the appointment internally announced in October. Twitter Appointed Engineer Parag Agarwal as Chief Technology Officer

Parag Agarwal joined the microblogging site in 2011 as an ads engineer. He earlier worked at Microsoft. Additionally, he did an internship at AT&T. According to the company, he takes the position that was held by Adam Messinger, who left in December 2016.

One of Twitter spokesman said:

In his capacity as CTO, he iss focused on scaling a cohesive machine learning and AI approach across our consumer and revenue product and infrastructure teams.”

Twitter’s firat CTO, Greg Pass, came in 2008 and left in May 2011. Messinger, a former Oracle executive, joined Twitter in November but took new position in March 2018.

Moreover, Chief Operating Officer, Anthony Noto, also resigned last month.
