TOT to trial LTE with two operators

According to the recent news TOT will work with two local mobile operators to trial LTE internet services. The trial will use 2300 MHz spectrum and is planned for the end of this year.

The trial will involve around 400 base stations located in Bangkok and some major provinces. The two private firms, which were not named, will install last-mile equipment and rent TOT’s backbone network to provide services.
