Telekom expands LTE services in North Germany

Telekom has rolled out LTE mobile broadband services in the communities of Jembke, Duderstadt and Bleckede in Lower Saxony. The service supports data rates of up to 100 Mbps.

Telekom aims to roll out LTE to over 100 German cities by end-2012. The service is accessible through an LTE Speedstick, providing a download speed of up to 7.2 Mbps and an upload speed of around 1.4 Mbps. The new Mobile Data tariff Call & Surf Comfort costs EUR 39.95 per month.
