Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications of Uzbekistan approved new prices. In the new price-list, the monthly subscription fee for population for using the fixed phone with time-based payment system will grow from 2,350 to 3,000 soums. While subscription fee with subscriber payment system will extend from 3,090 soums to 4,000 soums.
Tariffs for Fixed and International to Increase in Uzbekistan from 20 Oct
The monthly subscription fee for the population in the villages with time-based payment system grow from 1,035 soums to 1,350 soums. While the suscription fee with a subscriber payment system will increase from 1,520 to 2,000 soums.
International telephony will double the cost. For example, Central Asian countries cost of a minute call will increase from 500 soums to 1,000 soums. The minute of conversation with subscribers in Russia, Ukraine and Belarus will cost 1,100 soums while the present cost is 550 soums. Similarly, in European countries, the cost will grow 2,280 soums while the present cost is 1,140 soums.
Tariffs for telegraph services also grow double. At the same place, prices for long-distance calls within Uzbekistan were not change..
