Macedonian cellco T-Mobile has announced that it has expanded the coverage of its Long Term Evolution (LTE) network to 50% of the country’s population, corresponding to a territorial footprint of 20%.
T-Mobile Macedonia commercially launched its 4G services in December 2013, initially only in some areas of the capital Skopje (Centre Karposh Airport and K.Voda) and Mavrovo, although going forward it will be sequentially expanded to reach all customers in the Republic. By July 2014 the LTE network was available in the towns of Skopje, Mavrovo, Ohrid, Struga, Tetovo, Costivar & Strumitsa.
