Armenian mobile operator VivaCell, a subsidiary of Russian mobile operator MTS, has introduced a promotion for the Hayphone, HTC One, HTC Desire 200 and Nokia Lumia 925 smartphones at its branded shops. The rate of the Hayphone has been reduced from AMD 65,000 to AMD 24,900. HTC One is on offer for AMD 219,000 instead of AMD 325,000. The price of the HTC Desire 200 smartphone has been cut from AMD 95,000 to AMD 49,900 while the Nokia Lumia 925 can now be had for AMD 169,900 instead of AMD 249,000. Prepaid subscribers buying the HTC One and Nokia Lumia 925 will also be able to get 10,000 minutes of on-net calls and 10 GB per month.

Zain Finally Gives Smartphone, Tablet Users LTE Mobile Access
Zain Bahrain has this week expanded its 4G LTE services into a fully mobile national mobile broadband service for smartphone and tablet users, having previously launched LTE internet access for home/office routers a year ago. Starting from 30 April 2014 LTE-capable smartphone and tablet owners can try LTE mobile high speed data services for no additional cost for three months from the date of subscription. The offer is available for new and existing customers, both pre- and post-paid. Post-paid LTE subscribers will also get a free additional 2GB monthly threshold on top of their current data package threshold. Following a major network modernization, other recent enhancements offered to Zain Bahrain mobile users include HD voice technology, alongside wider and stronger network coverage.
