The larger and more expensive Edge model accounted for more than half of the series sales, as the brand continues to gain ground at the top of the market share leader table. According to Gartner, Samsung accounts for 23.2% of the global market share, ahead of Apple, which has seen its market position falter in recent months, now taking 14.8% share of the market.
