Germany and France meet for enhancing data encryption

Bernard Cazeneuve (French Interior Minister) and Thomas de Maizière (German Federal Minister of the Interior) have met on August 23 for discussion on enhancement of data encryption or protection laws. Changes in encryption included report which would allow access for the intelligence agencies and will offer a suitable level of protection for the user. On the other hand, technology companies worldwide have largely opposed such a change in privacy and accountability.
