Beeline Uzbekistan Launches Services On Aircrafts

Mobile operator Beeline Uzbekistan said it started providing in-flight mobile services on Transaero, British Airways, Air France, Lufthansa, KLM, SAS, Emirates, Virgin Atlantic, Qatar Airways, Etihad Airways, Singapore Airlines, Aer Lingus and Eva Air aircrafts. Beeline Uzbekistan said it was the only Uzbekistan operator offering such voice, SMS and mobile internet services. Incoming calls cost USD 7.98 per minute under the service, with outgoing calls to Uzbekistan priced at USD 6.96 per minute, calls to other states at USD 8,40 per minute, and SMSs at USD 1.26. The GPRS mobile internet rate totals USD 27 per MB.
