Apple iPhone 6s tops smartphone Q2 shipments with 4% share

Apple’s iPhone 6s was the world’s top-selling smartphone model in the second quarter, with as estimated 14.2 million units sold, according to Strategy Analytics. That’s equal to 4.2 percent of smartphones shipped worldwide in the quarter. The iPhone 6 came second, with shipments of 8.5 million, and Samsung’s Galaxy S7 Edge was in third place, with 8.3 million units and a 2.4 percent market share. Reports Telecompaper
