Telecom operator Cell C appointed Nihmal Marrie as its new Chief Digital Officer. He will take its new position on 1 August. Marrie holds a degree in Bachelor of Business Science from the University of Cape Town, with Honors in Finance and Accounting. Marrie links Cell C from the Liberty Group. Moreover, he served in Liberty Group as Divisional Director. In this position he managed dHub (Digital Hub). Digital Hub formed to make ground-breaking digital solutions for the retail business within Liberty. He also worked with big data in Liberty.

We are delighted to have such an ambitious and strategically minded person join our leadership team and we know he will bring a fresh perspective to the boardroom, which is exactly what a growing business in the digital age needs.
Furthermore, Marrie was Head of Business Development for Old Mutual Mass Market before joining Liberty. Additionally, he has also run his own consultancy named Surya Consulting. Furthermore, it offer strategic consulting services to large organizations and investment advice to smaller companies.
