SFR to deploy 3G and 4G for Parisian train users

The French cellular operator SFR has signed an agreement with the Paris transport authority RATP to deploy 3G and 4G mobile technology to cover underground and local rail networks in the French capital and the Ile de France region. SFR plans to begin offering 3G coverage for rail customers at two stations from September, with the entire Parisian underground and overground rail system to be covered by 3G and 4G by end-2015.
