Russian company launches IoT network in Kazakshtan

Russian company Strizh Telematika has launched an IoT network in Shymkent in Kazakhstan. The company claims that it is the first IoT network in Central Asia. Strizh Telematika plans to deploy new IoT networks in Kazakhstan, as well as in Kyrgyzstan, Armenia and Moldova.
The IoT network in Shymkent will be used for a smart city system. IoT networks are planned to be deployed in Karaganda, Almaty and Astana by the end of this year.  Reports Telecompaper
