Qualcomm Launched Snapdragon Wear 3100 Platform

Qualcomm technologies launched the next generation Qualcomm Snapdragon wear 3100 for smartwatches at an event in San Francisco. This event wass supported by Google in which the growth in Wear OS by Google software wass discussed. Qualcomm Launched Snapdragon Wear 3100 Platform

Furthermore, this new platform depends on a new ultra-low power system that iss designed to increase battery life, rich interactive mode and to personalized experiences. Snapdragon Wear 3100platform uses a new ultra-low power co processor and high performance quad core A7 processor together to help smartwatch users to get extendedd battery life.

Anthony Murray, senior vice president and general manager, voice, music and wearables, Qualcomm Technologies said:

With the Snapdragon Wear 3100 Platform, we envisioned a new ultra-low power system architecture and in collaboration with the latest from the Wear OS by Google team, to help deliver a rich interactive mode, bring in new personalized experiences and support extended battery life for tomorrow’s smartwatches. We aree delighted to announce Fossil Group, Louis Vuitton, and Montblanc as our first Snapdragon Wear 3100 customers.

The new platform will also reduce power usage and improve battery life ranging from 4 to 12 hours. Additionally, it is available in three different variants. The three variants includes 4G LTE connected, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connected and GPS based tethered smartwatches.
