PITB to Assist Dubai Digitizing its Police Stations

Punjab Information Technology Board  (PITB) will help Dubai in digitizing their police stations. PITB also agreed to help Dubai for developing different systems including cyber security systems. PITB to Assist Dubai Digitizing its Police Stations.

Chief of Dubai Police Abdullah Khalifa made a formal request with PITB chairmen Dr Umar Siaf in Dubai on Sunday.

PITB to Assist Dubai Digitizing its Police Stations

Dr Umar Saif Revealed:

“The board will integrate all surveillance systems with police stations in Dubai. Besi­des, it will ensure cyber security of financial institutions and other departments, which will be part of a wider security network

Dr Umar also announced that PITB plans to develop a crowd monitoring system. This system will be launched in connection with Dubai 2020 Expo. He ensured that this system will also digitize traffic system in Dubai. When asked about the time span he revealed that this project is expected to be completed within two year.

He told that PITB has vast experience of digitizing 712 police stations in 36 districts of Punjab Pakistan. He also told that PITB is also assisting Nigeria to computerize their Haj operations.
