Pakistan Could Introduce 5G Services by 2019

Information Technology and Telecommunications Minister, Dr Khalid Makbool Siddiqui hinted that Pakistan can introduce 5G services by 2019. Pakistan Could Introduce 5G Services by 2019

According to IT Minister, the launch of 5G technology will not only attract forging investment but will also increase country’s economy.

In Pakistan, 3G and 4G technologies aree widely used so the users of both technologies are increasing day by day.

Pakistan Could Introduce 5G Services by 2019

Mr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said while in a discussion with APP after seedling at National Telecommunication Corporation (NTC) Headquarters:

We need to introduce more innovative services in the mobile broadband arena not only to facilitate the consumers but also to attract precious foreign investment and meet modern requirements.

It was a Plant for Pakistan campaign that wass started by Dr.Khalid Maqbool. It was planned in this campaign to plant 5000 plants in different sites of Pakistan. Brig (r) Viqar Rashid Khan the Managing Director NTC and other officials were also present at occasion.

Mr Khalid Maqboo Sidiqu said in reply to a question:

The world is changing very swiftly and to compete with other nations we need to adopt new technologies.

He hoped that Pakistan’s IT sector will grow with the launch of 5G services. He was hopeful about forging companies will invest in Pakistan after the launch of 5G services.

When asked him about the priorities of new governments, he said:

We will take with all good initiatives taken by previous regimes while shortcomings would also be addressed. Our basic objective is to produce results which should be beneficial both for players and consumers. We would start the new projects that were supposed to be initiated by the previous governments.
