Nokia Siemens Networks Wins Iraqi Network Expansion Contract
Iraq’s Korek Telecom has awarded a network expansion contract to Nokia Siemens Networks covering the south of the country.
The operator has also renewed its care and managed services contract with the company. Neither financial terms, not the scale or timeline for the contract were disclosed.
Korek started operating in Iraq in 2000, notably in the north of Iraq and was awarded a nationwide license in 2007.
