MTS Uzbekistan reserves compensation for Subscribers

Mobile operator MTS Uzbekistan has reserved UZS 13 billion in compensation for subscribers for terminated contracts.

Subscriber base of the operator totaled 9 million when the government forced it to end operations. The company’s licences were canceled and assets seized due to alleged financial irregularities.
