MTS Boosts Moscow Coverage with FD-LTE Rollout

According to unconfirmed local media reports, Russian mobile giant Mobile TeleSystems (MTS) has boosted its 4G capabilities in Moscow with the deployment of Frequency Division Long Term Evolution (FD-LTE) equipment. The infrastructure covers the capital’s business centers at launch, but the cellco expects to extend coverage to airports, railway stations, shopping centers and major highways in due course.
