Mobily chooses Ericsson for EPC upgrade

The Saudi cellular and broadband internet provider Mobily has signed an agreement with Ericsson for an Evolved Packet Core (EPC) solution to support its 2G, 3G and 4G wireless networks. The technology will support the growth of mobile broadband technology, new multimedia services and machine-to-machine (M2M) applications.
