
Mobilink-SKMCH Children’s Mela
ISLAMABAD – Mobilink Foundation Torchbearers participated at the Annual Children’s Mela organized by Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospitaland Research Center (SKMCH&RC).
The day-long event involved over 1000 young patients and their families, and was also attended by SKMCH’s institutional partners as well as prominent civil society members and media representatives. The carnival-like atmosphere featured outdoor games and activities for the patients, followed by performances and comic skits.

Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre (SKMCH&RC) thanked Mobilink Foundation Torchbearers for volunteering their services in this carnival which aims to provide psychological support to cancer patients.
In 2012, Mobilink Foundation contributed PKR 3 million for an out-patient department at the under-construction Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Center (SKMCH&RC) in Peshawar. Each Ramazan, Mobilink Foundation also organizes a zakat and donation campaign to generate funding for SKMCH&RC, creating awareness through activities at various customer touch points.
