MNP date set for October

Azerbaijan mobile service users after several delays will finally gain access to mobile number portability (MNP) this October.

Jurgen Peetz, the CEO of local cellco Azerfon announced that the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology had set the date as a final deadline for Azerfon and its two larger rivals Azercell and Bakcell to introduce MNP simultaneously.
