Higher Education Commission (HEC) is hosting Microsoft Imagine Cup in partnership with Microsoft. Microsoft Imagine Cup is a technology competition for for students. It is organised in Pakistan for more than 10 years now. Microsoft and HEC to Organize Imagine Cup in Pakistan.

The Higher Education Commission (HEC) in collaboration with Microsoft is bringing `Microsoft’s Imagine Cup’ to Pakistan. Microsoft Imagine cup is an exciting opportunity for youth. Students can utilize their pottential and passion by participating in such technological event. This will boost the experience of students. Lucky participants who manage to be the finalist will be given win prize worth $100,000.

Microsoft and HEC to Organize Imagine Cup in Pakistan

This competition will be attended by different teams of students from Colleges/Universities all over Pakistan. Each team will submit the project including details such as software instructions and video One Drive URL. The participating teams will compete at regional level first of all. The winning teams will qualify for national level later on. According to Director IT HEC Anwar Amjad, Evaluation will be clear and based on the deliverable submitted to Imagine Cup Website.

The submitted projects will be evaluated by mix of judges from industry and academia. Technology would be vital criteria for the evaluation of project.Regional and national finals and relative winners will be announced on Official MSDN Pakistan Community Blog.

Microsoft Imagine Cup was firstly organised in 2003 in Pakistan. It  is an opportunity for students and young innovators from all around the world to bring their ideas and imagination to life. It gives them a chance to show how their technologies and software solutions can change the world.
