Launch of Samsung Galaxy S4 in Pakistan
The long awaited smartphone, Samsung Galaxy S4 is finally released in Pakistan. Samsung Mobile in collaboration with Ufone launched Samsung Galaxy S4 in Pakistan. The prestigious event was held in Lahore on 4th May, 2013 which was managed by Catwalk Productions and PR handled by Catalyst PR & Marketing.
The launch event of Galaxy S4 started with a dance performance, which was a rendition of the viral song “Gangam Style” by Psy. The Blue Carpet of the event was hosted by Amna Kardar where as the main event was hosted by Natasha Hussain.
The Managing Director of Samsung Pakistan, John Parker presented a preface product presentation. At the occasion he said “the showcasing of the anxiously awaited Galaxy S4 in Pakistan was definitely a breakthrough moment. The smartphone market in Pakistan is highly auspicious for companies like Samsung to launch their products.”
This was followed by presentations from Faridullah Jan, Business Head of mobile phones in Pakistan and Afghanistan and Mr. Ahmed Babar, Product Manager mobile phones Samsung Pakistan who shed some light on the feature and insights of the Samsung Galaxy S4.
Faridullah Jan shared his views on the launch of Galaxy S4 by saying, “Galaxy S4 is a phone that is in line with developing consumer needs and hence its arrival in Pakistan could help the brand improve its customer base in the country.”
JK Shin, president and head of IT & Mobile Communications Division at Samsung said,
“With the Galaxy S4, Samsung is again going to enhance the way we live. All the innovative features of GALAXY S4 were developed based on the insights and needs we found from our consumers all around the world. Following the successful Galaxy S series, the phone is yet another great proof point of people-inspired innovation. At Samsung we’ll never stop pursuing innovation conceived by people, so we can inspire them in return.”
The highlight of the event besides Galaxy S4 itself was the vitalizing musical performance by Sukhbir Sing and the LED dress collection show casted by Ali Xeeshan, a prominent fashion designer.
At the end of the event, Samsung Galaxy brand ambassador Humaima Malik, unveiled Galaxy S4.
