According to the same statistics, Mobile operator Softbank had 40.4 million mobile subscribers in the quarter ended 30 September, up from 39.9 million in the month of June 2018.

Telecom operator, KDDI (au) reaches 53.5 million telecom subscribers in total in the end of September 2018, up from 52.8 million in the month of June 2018.

Similarly, mobile operator NTT Docomo’s subscriber base reaches 77 million mobile users at 30 September, up from 76.7 million in the month of June 2018.

Japan reached 30.8 million broadband wireless access subscribers at the end of September 2018, served by Wimax services provider UQ communications.

Furthermore, According to TCA’s report, Japan had 157,400 radio paging users at the end of September 2018.
