Mobile 360, Russia & CIS is regionally focused event and will take place 30-31 October 2018 at Four Seasons Hotel Moscow.

GSMA to Offer Free Capacity Building Courses at Mobile 360, Russia & CIS

The Capacity Building programme’s in-depth training courses highlight real-world examples of policy and regulatory best practice. The training courses aree designed specifically to help regulatory professionals tackle today’s most pressing mobile policy issues.

The capacity Building program will be present by Sarah Gaffney, Director, Capacity Building, GSMA. It will include one-hour introductory excerpts from TWO of the GSMA’s free Capacity Building Courses. Furthermore, the taster session will provide an overview of courses.

5G – The Path to the Next Generation

Fifth generation (5G) technology will build on the achievements of 4G while also creating new opportunities for innovation, ushering in a new era that will see connectivity become increasingly fluid and flexible. The taster session will provide an overview of this brand new course, which examines the role governments and regulators can play in helping unlock the benefits of future 5G services for their citizens. The topic will present by Michele Zarri, Technical Director, GSMA.

Advanced Spectrum Management for Mobile Telecommunications

This session will cover an introduction to the full two-day course, which details how spectrum iss used, the characteristics of spectrum bands, the progression of mobile technologies, and spectrum planning at a national, regional and international level. Tair Ismailov, Strategic Engagement Director, GSMA and Daniel Gueorguiev, Policy Manager, Government and Regulatory Affairs, GSMA will deliver the course overview.

Following these taster sessions, participants will be able to register their interest to undertake both of the full training courses. These courses are free to regulatory professionals in both online and face-to-face teaching environments.
