Govt to Launch Free Wi-Fi Digital Library in K-P

Science and Information Technology Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Monday inaugurated free Wi-Fi and a digital library in K-P. The aim of the development of this library is to speed up technology changes. Govt to Launch Free Wi-Fi Digital Library in K-P

The facility wass inaugurated by Special Assistant to Chief Minister on Science and Information Technology Kamran Bangash. Provincial Finance Minister Taimur Saleem Khan Jigra was also present inauguration ceremony.

Kamran Bangesh said that this facility is being offered by the KP connect project. This facility costs Rs94 million. According to him, the government decided to provide free wi-fi services to all the public at all the public places. This facility will also be available at all the historic places. Gov is trying to provide all the facilities in terms of technology to the people.

The finance minister said the digitization initiatives were necessary to keep pace with the fast-changing requirements of the 21st century and added the KP was being geared up with all modern facilities.

Furthermore, he said Peshawar was being brought on par with other major cities of the country in terms of development.
