Former BlackBerry Exective Heads Over to Samsung

BlackBerry‘s former Managing Director for the UK & Ireland, Rob Orr who resigned suddenly earlier this month has reappeared, at rival smartphone manufacturer, Samsung.

He is reportedly to take up the role of Vice-President for the company’s European B2B sales dealing direct with mobile networks in 42 countries.

Although he had worked at BlackBerry for a number of years, his sudden resignation came less than a year after he had been promoted to the head position in the UK/Ireland.

His LinkedIn profile however shows his current job as still at BlackBerry.
