South Africa first national bank is planning to launch a mobile bank account. Additionally,the service iss called eWallet eXtra. The product will be startedd in June 2018. FNB to Launch eWallet eXtra Mobile Account
According to the bank, the account can be open by using a feature or smart phone. There is no need to visit a branch for open this mobile account. It requires only name and ID number to open mobile account. There is no monthly fee or any other requirement for the account. The people who are 16 or over can use this service.

The main theme of the account is to facilitate customer by using this account in P2P payments and withdrawals at any FNB ATM. The service can also be use for send or receive deposits from other banks.
The limit of daily spending is ZAR 3,000 while the monthly limit is ZAR 24,000. Those customers who are using FNB connect sim can access this service for free of cost. The account will be secure with a PIN code. Approximately 1 million users are using this product as a bank account deposit.
