CDMA ROAMING WORKSHOP

The event was yet another effort that was actively supported by QUALCOMM and CDMA Development Group.

ITCN ASIA 2009

UMTS/WCDMA WORKSHOP

CDMA 1X EVDO REL. 0

CDMA PRINCIPLES

The training was exclusively conducted for wireless operator Perfectum Mobile. The event was actively supported by Qualcomm Inc. The three day workshop was basically the on site training session held at the premises of Perfectum Mobile office based in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

CDMA 1X EV-DO TRAINING

Ulaabaatar, Mongolia

The event was actively supported by QUALCOMM Incorporated, USA and the CDMA Development Group (CDG).

The training session was well attended by professionals from Skytel and G-Mobile, the two 3G CDMA wireless operators in the country. Skytel is the largest 3G CDMA mobile operator in Mongolia which is also offering EVDO services. Skytel operates its network in 800 MHz and is currently offering EVDO Rel-0 as well as EVDO Rev. A services.

CDMA2000/EVDO FOR PROFESSIONAL

WCDMA (UMTS): PROTOCOLS AND PHYSICAL LAYER

The workshop was held at Telenor Office, Blue Area, Islamabad, Pakistan.
Dr. Syed Ismail Shah, Executive Director, Central Asian Cellular Forum and Qualcomm certified trainer conducted the training which covered WCDMA (UMTS): Protocols and Physical Layer with an introduction to HSUPA.
The training was a part of series of training programs being carried out across the country by Central Asian Cellular Forum for GSM operators ahead of the expected 3G network upgrade. A total of 23 professional Engineers from Telenor and LCC attended the training.[/column] [/columns] [top/]
