Etisalat Offers New 150Mbps LTE Modem

Emirates Telecommunications Corporation (Etisalat), the United Arab Emirates’ incumbent telecoms operator, has introduced a new 4G LTE modem which enables customers to access mobile broadband download speeds of up to 150Mbps. According to Emirates News Agency (WAM), the Huawei Wi-Fi modems allow up to ten users to share the high speed internet connection simultaneously on their laptops, smartphones or tablets.

Etisalat’s chief marketing officer, Khaled El Khouly, commented: ‘With the launch of the 4G LTE internet devices, Etisalat further empowers customers in the UAE by offering them the fastest and most reliable internet performance, linking multiple users to a single connection which they can access from wherever they are located.’
