Etisalat Disconnects 1.3 Million Unregistered SIM Cards
Etisalat has started to disconnect unregistered sim cards. So far it has disconnected 1.3 million sim cards of the users who did not registered their identity with the company.
The mobile network has been sending out text message reminders to unregistered accounts as it shuts them off in a phased process. Users can start the process of re-registering their SIM card by visiting the company’s website.
Last date for sim registration is 16th of April after that; customers will have to face disconnection.
