Dubai is working hard to build Digital Dubai. Its enhancing its technological aspect whereas incorporated different companies to make their wish come true. Recently the have partnered with Uber to introduce flying car for the very first time. Flying cars are expected to be launch by the end of 2017. Dubai Became the First city to Own Microsoft Font.

For the first time Microsoft has introduced a Font for some country. Yes Microsoft launched Dubai Font for people of KSA. On Sunday Dubai Government proudly revealed the launch of its own Microsoft Font namely ‘Dubai Font‘. Microsoft has developed such typeface for the first time. There are rumors that it will be available for 23 languages.

Dubai Became the First City to Own Microsoft Font

Hamdan bin Mohammad al Maktoum has urged all Government Institutes to officially apply Dubai Font.

The Executive Council of Dubai headed by Prince Hamdan said that:

“The font initiative actually reflects the United Arab Emirates’ vision “to become a regional and global leader in innovation”.

The Executive Council secretary general Abdulla al-Shaiban said:

“It is the first font to be developed by a city and to carry its name”.

Dubai, the largest city in the UAE and home to the world’s tallest tower, has championed technology and innovation as it looks to broaden its appeal.
