Dtac to Reach 5,000 3G Base Stations by End of This Year

­Thailand’s Dtac has announced that it will be expanding its 3G network with the addition of a further 3,000 base stations by the end of this year.

The company said that it will reach 2,000 base stations, covering 45 provinces nationwide in March, 2012. The expansion will take its 850Mhz based 3G base station total to over 5,000 towers by the end of the year.
