China Mobile finally inks iPhone deal

China Mobile, the world’s largest cellco by subscribers, has finally signed a long-awaited deal with Apple to sell the US firm’s iPhone handset devices. The pact is expected to help kick-start Mobile’s 4G services, whilst generating billions of dollars of additional revenue for the US manufacturer. The cellco announced that it will begin taking orders for the iPhone on 25 December. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
