Bluegrass Cellular Expands LTE Coverage in Rural Kentucky

USA based regional mobile network, Bluegrass Cellular says that it recently expanded its LTE network into the Kentucky counties of Breckenridge, Hardin, Grayson, Logan, Meade, Russell, Spencer, Taylor, Warren and Wayne.

“We’re continually looking for ways to enhance our technology and customer care,”

Barry Nothstine, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Bluegrass Cellular

The 4G expansion is part of Bluegrass Cellular’s LTE in Rural America (LRA) partnership with Verizon Wireless. As a result of the partnership, Bluegrass is working to bring LTE into areas of Central Kentucky that are otherwise unable to access Verizon’s network. In return, Bluegrass Cellular customers have access to Verizon’s 4G LTE network throughout the entire United States.

This recent expansion is part of a bigger mission to bring the best and latest technology home to Central Kentucky. And our partnership with Verizon has played an important role in seeing that through.”
