Beeline Develops Green Technologies in Outdoor Advertisements
Beeline has successfully completed the first stage of introduction of clean technologies in outdoor advertising. The outdoor advertisements were transferred to use of solar energy, which significantly will save electricity.
Powerful solar panels charge the batteries during daylight hours, even on cloudy days or in the winter season. During dark period of the day, power controllers automatically turn on the lamp, illuminating the advertising structure.
Chief Communications Officer in Unitel Oraz Abdurazakov said that this allows decreasing load to central electricity supply network. He said that Beeline has hundreds of billboards across Uzbekistan and stage-by-stage they will be transferred to use green technologies. He said that Beeline seriously considers this ecologically important project and will introduce alternative sources of energy.
Currently, Beeline equipped about 100 billboards of Beeline in all regions of Uzbekistan to use solar energy.
