Bakcell prevented from settling roaming debts with Iran

Azerbaijani mobile operator Bakcell has been prevented from settling roaming fees with Iranian operators due to US sanctions on that country.

Azerbaijan is experiencing a boom in travellers from Iran and despite operators wanting to settle the debts, they cannot do so because of the US sanctions, Azerbaijan Business Center reports citing a spokesperson for the company.
