Uzbekistan -My. gov.uz Celebrated Anniversary

A successful anniversary has been completed by the single interactive state services portal-my.gov.uz yesterday. Almost 500 organizations, local administrations and economic bodies were linked to the portal. The company launched 200 helpful services among these organizations.

The portal introduced centralized system of applications for citizens and 85% applications were successfully processed. About 3,062 (15%) of applications are under consideration and will be processed this year. It is important to mention that 2,159 applications (11%) were from legal bodies. About 61.3% of submissions were applications, 8.8% – proposals and 28.6% – complaints. About 85% of the users prefer to receive answers from the state bodies to their applications in electronic form. The portal also helped the huge businesses to get register via portal.

Overall, the single portal has brilliantly completed its one year and provided good services to the citizens. The single portal has planned to launch many new services. 

The App Age Begins: Call for 2014 Djuice Contest

The brand of youth in Pakistan, Djuice has launched its ‘Apportunity 2014’ app development contest. Djuice is providing a platform for young and enthusiastic students and software developers to create cell phone apps. It is the third competition announced by Djuice and proved a wonderful place for upcoming app developers. The new thing in 2014 competition is its partnership with Microsoft in order to target Windows Phones along with the old partners Google Android and Apple iOS. The youngsters will also be helped to reach major university incubation centers. Moreover, with the help of ‘Pakistan Software House Association’, for the very first time, Djuice is inviting applicants from software houses as well. Pakistani universities will be visited by the brand team itself in order to develop interactive process with industry experts and help the youth in improving their app ideas.

The winners will present their app at the Digital Winners Global App Development Challenge 2014 in Oslo, Norway. The grand winner will be given a cash prize of USD 33,000 and the runner-up from Pakistan will also be given prize of PKR 200,000. A huge list of categories is provided to the participants consisting of business, sports, entertainments etc. A new category of ‘Best Interned App’ is also introduced this time.  

The last date for App submission ideas is 10th July, which will be submitted on Djuice’s Official website.
