ANC to Launch New Mobile Network on Cell C

According to a report, the ANC decided to introduce a mobile network on Cell C network called ANC 1912 Mobile. ANC to Launch New Mobile Network on Cell C

The same report specified that the MVNO is part of a plan to help the ANC win the national general elections in 2019 by attracting new voters.

The meeting between both the parties took place by May while Cell C wass selected as the service provider in June. The new network will also be use to “disseminate ANC news, content and information”. It further explained that the companies which would own the MVNO are Digital Broadway and Trading.

The document show that shareholding of the project was broken down into several chunks who are getting 51 percent. The parts includes Majota, Phat Joe and Kambule in which Kambule owns Digital Broadway and Trading. Other entities are getting 15 percent and 7 percent.

The report added that 1912 Mobile aimed to connect one million customers and “generate R10 million in cash per month for the ANC”.
