3G and 4G Subscribers Reached 58.5 Million: PTA

According to Pakistan Telecommunication Authority, the 3G and 4G subscribers reached 58.56 million by the end of August 2018. 3G and 4G Subscribers Reached 58.5 Million: PTA

The statistics further explained that there is an increase of 0.54 million in the number of mobile phone users during the review period. Mobile phone users hit 151.09 million by the end of August compared to 150.55 million by the end of July.

At the same place, number of broadband subscribers reached 60756678 by end of August compared to 59549253 by end of July 2018. Cellular mobile teledensity reached 72.97 percent compared to 72.83 percent in June 2018.

Jazz 3G users reached 15.045 million by end of August compared to 15.038 million by end of July. There is an increase of 0.007 million in Jazz 3G users. While, 4G users of Jazz reached 5.077 million by end of August compared to 4.601 million by end of July 2018.

Zong 3G subscriber decreases from 9.228 million by the end of July 2018 to 9.034 million by the end of August 2018. At the same place, 4G subscriber increases 8.131 million by end of August compared to 7.761 million by end of July 2018.

Telenor 3G user decreases from 10.314 million by end of July 2018 to 10.210 million by end of August. The number of 4G users reached 3.590 million by end of August compared to 3.315 million by end of July 2018.

Ufone reached 0.412 million 3G users during the month of August as the total reached to 7.474 million by end August compared to 7.060 million by end July 2018.
